Quincy Pride is an all-volunteer 501c3 organization. Our mission is to promote and foster Acceptance, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion through its annual Q Pride Day Festival, advocacy its community give back program for (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (or questioning), intersex, and asexual (or allies) LGBTQIA+ families and residents.

Outreach and Development Director

POSITION SUMMARY:
Quincy Pride seeks an individual to join its volunteer Board of Directors (BOD) with a 2-year commitment as the Outreach and Development Director to manage all aspects of marketing and communications. Specifically, develop and implement strategies to drive the success of the organization’s programmatic goals and remain a thought leader on intersectional LGBTQIA+ issues. The director will manage email communications, newspaper posting, and social media. In addition, this role will collaborate in brand management and advertising strategies. The director will collaborate closely with the BOD to further the vision and mission of Quincy Pride toward enhancing the annual QPride Festival development and expansion into other areas of programming.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Outreach and Development Director will lead the planning and execution of engagement and outreach actions and activities with community and allies, and LGBTQIA+ partner organizations. This role will work closely with the Executive Board of Directors to develop a plan to expand and more effectively engage our community in advocacy campaigns and program offerings. Collaboratively develop and implement a strategy to grow and deepen Quincy Pride relationship with our current community allies and partner organizations and identify areas for collaboration.

Director at Large

POSITION SUMMARY:
Quincy Pride seeks an individual to join its volunteer Board of Directors (BOD) with a 2-year commitment as the Director at Large to manage a wide variety of projects toward enhancing the annual QPride Festival, develop and expand other areas of programming. The position requires an individual who is organized, initiative-taking, communicative, and adaptable with a true passion for intersectional LGBTQIA+ community service.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director at Large will manage one or more organizational projects. Projects will require research, vendor outreach, data, and policy analysis, and making recommendations to the board toward achieving project and organizational goals. In addition, the individual will play a significant role in supporting the annual Q Pride Day Festival design, planning and event day oversight. The position requires the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
